A 300-level student of Pure and Applied Botany at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Christianah Idowu, just passed away, and the university has asked the police to look into her death as they mourn for her.
There must be retaliation for this violent conduct. In a statement issued by Olasunkanmi Olajide, the institution’s Acting Head of the Directorate of Public Relations, the university urged the Nigeria Police Force to move quickly with their inquiry and guarantee that justice would not be delayed.
The Way Further
According to the school, Idowu’s kidnapping and murder in Ikorodu, Lagos State, have caused immense anguish and heartbreak for the whole university community. It was a demand that the security services make sure the perpetrators of the atrocities were punished.
A group from the university paid a condolence visit to the family, according to Olajide. The vice chancellor (academic), Prof. Olukayode Akinyemi, and the president of the student union, Ibraheem Adeyemi, were leading the trip.
A portion of the statement states, “The university management stands in solidarity with her family, friends, and all who were touched by her life.
